How to upload documents

You can easily upload documents directly from client's portal dashboard

  • Click the "Upload Documents" button on the top right corner of the page

  • Alternatively, you can also go to the documents page and upload documents from there

  • Click on the blue "Upload Documents" button above the folders

  • Select the documents that you want to upload

  • If you select a Zip archive file when uploading documents, it will automatically unpack it and upload all the file from within it as if you were uploading them all individually

  • This also means that it will not replicate the Folder Structures

  • If you are trying to upload a file that is not supported it will not upload

  • Check the help article of TaxDome which listed all the unsupported file types.

  • There's unlimited storage for documents, but the individual file size needs to be under 200 megabits per file

  • When uploading documents, marked the "notify Firm if you are done uploading" check, to let the client know that you have uploaded all the documents that they needed.

  • when uploading documents you don’t have to select any folder. all the files that you upload will automatically be placed in "Client upload Folder"
